| The American Merchant Union was founded by a group of small
American Businesses for small American Business. This group of
businesses decided that they wanted to do something about the
destruction of the American dream. Small American businesses are
currently under attack and the leading the force of this attack is
the greed of the credit card industry. Over the past decade the
credit card industry is getting more and more powerful and wealthier
"a lot wealthier" while the small American businesses are getting
weaker and finding it more and more difficult to earn money or
simply stay in business. The American Merchant Union believes that
the credit cards industries power to destroy American Businesses by a
simple decision on their part, is a power that should be taken away.
